Boomer
“Like many people during the pandemic, I evaluated my priorities and decided I wanted a dog. I was woefully unprepared for the one I got. Boomer was a Craigslist find. He had been to four homes before me and after a few weeks it became clear why. Boomer had severe separation anxiety, fear aggression, and horrible recall. I was unable to go anywhere without a babysitter for Boomer because of his anxiety. He was destructive and actually broke a tooth during one of his tantrums. His anxiety was costly and fiscally limiting.
More troubling was Boomer’s aggression towards humans. Boomer bit at least five people before Ashton trained him. I worked with other trainers and had zero success. They suggested CBD oil and Trazadone. Both of which were bandaids and did not shift the underlying issue.
Ashton changed my life and Boomer’s life in a way that I never could have imagined. Boomer can be around people now without me being hyper vigilant. He actually allows people to pet him and enjoys himself! He is a completely different dog.
Ashton’s work has exceeded my expectations. Boomer is now off leash trained. His recall is a 100%, 100% of the time. I am so grateful for the work Ashton has done with Boomer. I can say, with confidence, I would not have been able to keep Boomer without her.
Don’t waste your money working with other trainers. Ashton is talented, diligent, personable, and extremely caring. She is also an incredible teacher. Your relationship with your dog will metamorpihize before you know it! ”

Winston
“Ashton has been so incredibly helpful with Winston! Winston is a Great Pyrenees mix (notoriously stubborn dog) and was extremely difficult to train. We went through 2 other trainers who were unable to help get Winston to listen. I was reluctant to give more money to yet another trainer, but Ashton's experience gave me confidence in her abilities.
After just one session with them, Winston's recall was incredible. Now I can walk Winston with zero pulling on the leash + he's amazing off leash. I take him off-leash on hikes with 100% confidence.
More recently, we discovered that Winston had some separation anxiety and was unable to self-soothe when he was alone. We tried to crate train him, but he would get so upset he'd hurt himself in the crate. Thankfully, Ashton came to the rescue once more! She went above and beyond to get Winnie to a place where he could regulate his own anxieties. Now, he sees his crate as his own safe space and goes in unprompted. Now we don't have to cross our fingers and worry every time we leave him home alone.
We don't know what we would have done without Ashton - she really changed our lives. Thank you Ashton!”

“I have attached a photo of my three fur babies taken after my amazing experience with Command Performance K9. My journey began with another brutal dog attack. My American Bully is 2 years and 9 months old, she has had multiple attacks on my Auggie and my Weimaraner. Yes, she was literally a “bully” in my home. Then that dreaded moment when I heard “you may want to consider euthanizing your American Bully.” NO!! I thought maybe I could learn how to train my dogs, I then reached out to Command Performance K9.

Ashton is a tremendous trainer that brought my 1.5 year old former stray German Shep / Belgian Malinois mix all the way around. Ashton works with owners to supply all the tools relevant to your dog, teaching you while teaching the dog in an interactive and fun setting. She worked with both he and I extensively, teaching the dog all he needs to know while making sure I know exactly how to work with him on continued training. All my concerns are now alleviated related to welcoming visitors to the house, recall, sit/stay/heel, deterring jumping, obedience and calm temperament while approaching other dogs, obedience and calm temperament in crowded public settings including during travel, etc.
Every concern I had was addressed and alleviated and all my training goals were achieved. I now have everything I need (knowledge, tools, troubleshooting techniques) to continue to grow with my pup - I can't recommend Ashton and her team enough!!
